Afi Patterson
Associate
Afi Patterson is an Associate at WH, where she represents corporations, insurers, and businesses in complex litigation. She brings a unique background spanning corporate defense, entertainment law, and international human rights, enabling her to approach disputes with creativity and strategic precision.
Before joining the firm, Afi gained experience at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where she focused on high-stakes corporate and white-collar defense. She also served as a felony trial public defender and as an Administrative Law Judge. Through Fox Studios, she worked on contracts, music rights, and production matters. Internationally, she represented survivors of war crimes and helped them secure their right to be heard in proceedings before the International Criminal Court.
Afi holds a J.D. from Southern University Law Center, an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University, and a B.S. in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University. She is admitted to the California and Louisiana bars.
Outside the office, Afi enjoys travel, hiking, and Pilates.
